Winky called me to tell me he was feeling a bit left out lately. He said he’d like a place all his own to retreat to. So I built him his chocolate cabin filled with his favorite foods like spam, chocolate and wine gums and family photos of Binky, Twink, Fraz, Super Stupid, (shh..he’s a secret) Zoe and of course, his master Chris. Oh yes, I almost forgot….his cabin is made out of chocolate so he always has the scent of it to keep him feeling hungry…like his needs help with that!! But wait, there’s more. He wanted his house to be by the ocean too, only he wanted to be on the sound-side, and close to the water because he likes to sleep alot and wanted a more peaceful setting…

It’s just as he told me he wanted it, but wait…there’s more…
If you look on the back wall behind Winky’s Bunk bed you will see a green canvas or some sort. Behind it is not a wall, but an entrance. It’s an entrance to another room. In this hidden room he has a laptop for dummy’s made just for him. It has only a few keys that will produce more of his favorite food in a food incubator…he’ll never run out of food! All he has to do it push the button of the picture of the food or drink he wants, and presto, it will create in the food incubator. Also, there is another keyboard that has all blank keys, those keys are so he can look for and tear out one of the pictures out of his favorite food magazines that his bottom drawer is fill with then scan it on the very easy to use scanner, It will automatically place the image of the food on one of the keys so he can press the key when he wants it, then presto, he has his new food or drink!
He also has a cell phone so he can call his friends and family for whatever reason he wants…like his pal Fraz. But if you want to know all his cabin has or can do you’ll have ask Winky.
Now, I’m sure Fraz will be very interested in visiting Winky’s Cabin because the door that leads outside from the secret room leads to the rest of Ocracoke Island. And they can go over to Springer’s Point where Blackbeard had a big party in October of 1718 when Blackbeard is said to have hosted the largest ever pirate gathering right here on this point of Ocracoke… Imagine Blackbeard and fellow captains Israel Hands, Charles Vane, Robert Deal and Jack Rackham and their pirate crews partying beneath the live oaks, swilling rum, butchering hogs and barbecuing on the beach. Moving on now with that story… There are some who believe that Blackbeard’s buried treasure may also be somewhere on Springer’s Point. The night before he lost his head, someone asked him if Mrs. Teach (Blackbeard’s given name may actually have been Edward Drummond.) knew where he had buried his money. He replied that nobody but himself and the devil knew where it was. No large treasure chest of gold or money has ever been found to this very date. so…
…Winky’s has got himself a nice little cabin where there may truly be some buried treasure…to still be found.
