I think my favorite is the Sunset over Pamlico Sound… Oh and Egret too.. amazing!

  4. lol, that Egret was not to hard to create. The sound took a bit more time.

I really like your style of artistry my friend,
it is fresh and crisply visioned, and indeed
shows your varied talents as an artist…

I will be calling back here to view them in
more detail and of course to offer a thought
or two as I browse through your Space…

I was going to comment on the paintings here individually, but when I click on the paintings there isn’t a comment box available and so I will have to find them within your Space but as I am already here I will say that I like the ‘Days Long Passed’, ‘Dark Forest’, ‘The Hatteras Lighthouse’ and ‘Pepper’ amongs others on show, so once I have located these on your alternative pages I will make comments on them 🙂

Have a lovely day today Deb

  12. Deb, these take my breath away! To be able to draw human faces is truly a talent, not that I know anything about drawing, but to be able to capture the “real” feeling is beyond amazing! xx

    • Portraits are a bit more difficult than scenes. The models (mostly woman) are very picky and critical, though men can be too. Therefore, the scene are more enjoyable for me to do, unless I draw a portrait from my imagination
I’m so glad you like these. My charcoals works are very dear to me, and also one of my most loved mediums…Aside from the mess than can make…lol
      Have a great day, Lauren!

    • Most all of these I did before I ever got into doing anything in color. I like looking back at them from time to time, and you commenting brought me back for a peek myself. Thanks you for such a kind comment! Hugs xx

  18. Very impressive and inspiring Deb. I have done a little painting myself lately, which is rather expressive and haphazard in style and I have always been in awe of someone who can draw well and your drawings definitely have the wow factor!

  19. Wow! You have a great hand, the chiaroscuro in these drawings is masterful.
