On February 26, 2012 an excellent poet and my dear friend, Lauren had nominated me for the Reader’s Appreciation Award….thank you, Lauren, I am honored, and graciously accept. And now feel I may place this lovely award on my blog. You have been more than patient with me to prepare and publish a post.
For those of you who may not know Lauren would be cheating yourself for not taking the time to visit her blog. She is kind, loving and witty. Her poetry is heart-felt, of love, passion, compassion, and day to day life.
I will explain this award exactly as Lauren had read it to be when she read about it
As she wrote, awards are like gifts–they are meant to be a blessing. Therefore, the “rules” are not legally binding–which means, if you’re not happy to be nominated, please have some mercy and grace for me. (Caddo didn’t do compliance checks and neither will I!) “List six nominations. Link the Award Image back to the one who presented it to you.” But if you can’t manage it, please do not fuss and fret.
I will list the nominees at the bottom of this post.

On March 5, 2012 a most wonderful writer…a song writer and friend George W Mahn, III had nominated me with Mrs. Sparkly’s Ten Commandment Award.

Thank you, George, for considering me for this high honored award! Now, I must answer 10 Questions “honestly” about myself, as part of my acceptance (rules) of this award.

George is a love heart. This can easily be seen in the lyrics to his music, the way he speaks to me in comments and replies, and the way he speaks to others. He is health conscious, cares and respects his fellow man, writes a song that will be felt deep in your heart. He make warms my heart with his gentle nature.

Now this next award, the Kreativ Blogger Award came to me as a surprise because I was nominated by Tania Smith whom I met through her nominating me. Tania…please forgive my tardiness in getting this posted prepared and posted…. I am truelyhonored and very humbled that you would think of me for such an honorable award…thank you, Tania!

My last and most recent award I was nominated for is the Creative Chaos Award from George W Mahn, III. His blog is Vertical Leap. George is also the one who nominated me for the above award, Mrs. Sparkly’s Ten Commandment Award. George, I am truly honored and bless that you thought of me when you passed on this award…thank you!
For those of you who do not know George, I high recommend you visit his blog. He is a wonderful song writer with lyric that are so heart-felt that you would think he wrote it for you….So don’t cheat yourself…give him a visit
The Rules
Firstly: Thank the person who gave you the Award.
Secondly: Take your best shot at the 3 tasks listed below.
Thirdly: Nominate 5 people who recently followed your blog.
First Task: Three weird things I do:
- Sometimes I add peanut butter to my ice cream.
- I sleep with one foot uncovered most of the time
- I’ll get a teaspoon of chocolate syrup if I want chocolate and don’t have any.
Second Task: You must tell why you look at the “glass half full” scenario and ask “what? No coffee?”
Once I put sweeten in my coffee it is my husband that say’s “What no coffee with that.
Third Task: You find yourself in a desolate place when your car breaks down. You have no cellphone service, no Walmart, and only a candy bar for food. It is 150 miles to the closest town. What color are your under pants and why?
I’d be grateful for the candy bar…eat it while I waited for my husband to come look for me based on where I told him I was going…as I always do (including my routes.) My pants are? Well, I wouldn’t know unless I looked, and it would be the furthest thing on my mind.
Now for the nominees… (more…)
