Toy Destruction

dog-its-all-fun-and-games-till-someone-gets-hurt-400

I’m sure anyone who owns a dog can relate to this one.  My small Yorkie of 3 lbs has graduated in toy destruction before she was a year old, but once it’s destroyed she gives me this look like, well, like the one in the picture. I also have to toss the remains away when she is not looking or she’ll put up a fuss.

    • My little one has it daily, but it takes her a while to destroy it. Once she does…she’s sad

      • Perhaps some ore robust toys are in order. Some heavy duty rubber ones or something.

        • Cici don’t like those, She wants something soft so she can swing it around to break it’s neck.

          • That is what they’re trying to do! I guess a stiff plastic toy just doesn’t seem very real to her.

            • No, she want something with a face and neck. She like to eat the eyes out too. We have to be careful what we get her so she don’t choke on anything.

  6. The cat did it.

  7. I can definitely relate to this one and with Copper being a lab, his destruction is more like “Jaws!” Love this, Deb! Lots of love and hugs! xoxo

      • They don’t, which is why we can’t buy anything cloth that he can chew in a matter of seconds. He loves Nylabones and can chew on them forever. I plan to buy one of your t-shirts this week. It’ll add to my collection for “dog walking.” 🙂 Hugs!

        • Cici has a nylabone. It’s about 2.5″ long and has had it since she was a pup. They last a long time.
You are? Thank you so much, Lauren! ♥

    • Good Morning, Lauren! I saw that you made a purchase…thank you so much! They let us send thank you notes, but wonder it the buyer actually gets them.
Your going to look great in the tank top. I guess it will be one of your new walk the dog tees.
Yes, I just put your book up this morning! I’m glad you like it there!

      • My tank tops have disappeared and since the weather is warming up, a tank seemed right. 🙂 ♥

        • They disappeared? Does your daughter have them by any chance.
It’s almost warm enough for me to where tanks here too.
Thank you again, my friend! Hugs♥

  10. Dixie has done this on a number of occasions when she was still in puppy stage. She’s 5 now & has had her current Teddy for about 3 years now

    • Cici’s not as bad as she use to be, but she’s still got puppy in her.

Never mind, it can be fixed 🙂
Dogs love their toys and always
like to shake them around, pull
their legs off, head and arms,
even pull them through puddles 🙂

    It’s a dog thingy 🙂 lol
