Flash in the Pan: Buffet

50s-housewife-experiment - Copy“That’s it, I’ve had all I can take of this nonsense! One small dinner party after another and everyone of them left me feeling, well…distressed!” Betty exclaimed to Max while washing the dishes.
“So what do you intend to do about it, hold a banquet?” Max asked with curiosity as he dried dishes.
Betty eyes light up. “That’s it!” I’ll have one next month, then I can have everyone together. Your brilliant Max!”
“I was kidding, Kitten.” Max called Betty Kitten all the time.
“ Well I’m not!”
The big day arrived. Betty then gets all the food put out on the buffet tables making it look nice and pretty. Her guests arrive, fill up their plates and enjoy a nice meal with pleasant conversation.
That night after her guests had left, Betty lies in bed smiling, while wickedly thinking. “Finally, no distress, since they’ll all be dead by morning.”

Yes it’s been a nice Saturday with sunshine and a time for some relaxing, in other words no running around the garden in the niff, okay joking, but it has been a nice weekend so far and thank you for asking my sweet friend 🙂

I won’t send the Zombies over without
first teaching them some manners 🙂 lol

Okay, but if Betty gets to weird, we may need them as themselves, if you know what I mean.
You have a good night, my friend. I’ve got some more relaxing of my own to do.
