  1. In Canada, we celebrate Remembrance Day on November 11 to remember our fallen soldiers, though it’s basically the same as your Memorial Day. It’s important to remember the price of freedom, though we often seem not to.

    • We have Veterans Day. It is an official United States holiday which honors people who have served in armed service also known as veterans.
Veterans Day is not to be confused with Memorial Day; Veterans Day celebrates the service of all of veterans, while Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving.

      Thank you, Binky!

  2. Wonderful tribute post, Deb. I have posted on many Memorial Days about what it is really about from history & origins to thankfulness. This year as well. We are always grateful & thankful in this family for all who have served. Hugs, Faythe
