Snow Clean-Up

100_6573 - Copy

Cassie

Cassie told her Daddy she needed the snow pushed  out of the drive so she could go for a walk…a-hem, among other things.

Mitch doesn’t mind doing it, once he gets started.

The space you see between our drive and the house across the way is not our street. It’s the rest of our driveway that leads to a road on both ends….He’ll have someone come out and clear that since the drive is very long, and steep.

It’s also calling for more snow Saturday.

Cici Staring

Then Cici decided she wanted me to post her Daddy pushing the snow, and sat right by my laptop watching me till I got it all done and published.

    • Well, Mitch has been doing all that…he’s good that way. I bring him hot coffee and feed him as he gets hungry. Cassie and Cici give him heck for leaving the house without them….lol
I don’t let Cici out there. She gets cold too easily. She’s piddled pad trained.
Christmas was lovely as always, and I trust that is was for you too. Have a very happy New Year Sue! xxx

Mitch doesn’t mind pushing it at all, it’s just getting started sometimes…you know how that can be.
I love my sweet Cici and Cassie…they’re great little dogs, I mean family members. 🙂

That’s some driveway! Luckily Mitch has tractor or that would be an all day exercise. We ended up with about that much snow, too, maybe 6 inches or so.
It looks as if Cassie and Cici know how to get what they want.

    • Yes, it would be. Back in, I think if was 2009 we had two blizzards about a week apart…maybe you got it too. The tractor was did not have enough weight to it to push the 3′ of snow we had. We had to dig our way out. The was the first year we had needed someone to clear the the long part of the driveway.

Yes, they’re pretty good at it, especially Cici. 🙂

  10. Brrrrrr!!! COLD!!!! LoL!!! 🙂

Glad Mitch has the lawnmower buggy – clearing that lot by hand would be a killer!!! 😦

Love the picture of Cici in her winter warmer! 🙂

Happy New year my lovely friend! 🙂

    • Yes, quite chilly, and we get more on Saturday!
We had to do the part you see Mitch pushing by hand once, well he did, but I did the deck, and the snow was 3′ high. ;( But that was a few years back so now I can just look back on it and laugh about it. 🙂

Thanks Prenin, We have to keep Cici warm since she gets cold so easy.
Happy New year to you too, my dear friend! 🙂

  15. All I could think, it snowed in Dallas. Then I saw this and I thought, okay really it just sorta sprinkled white stuff in Dallas giving us a glimmer of a White Christmas, some ice on the roads and a bit of ick for a day. This on the other hand…..

Wonderful puppies, great view of the hubs clearing snow and a new appreciation of no real snow in Dallas. 🙂

    • I hear ya, Val. Snow is great to look at when it’s the first fallen snow, but the mess later….Ack! 🙂

  16. aww cutie Cassie. What else is there to do besides walk outside? Hmm, I don’t know 🙂
Looks like the same weather as here. I’m fortunate that I have a neighbor with a tractor and plow take care of my drive way without me even asking. It saves my back from shoveling 🙂

    Reply
    • Well, if she was a boy she could learn to write her name in the snow….OMG!…Did I just say that? 😉
That’s a really nice neighbor you got there, Scott. 🙂

Google and WP are always messing things up. I just saw a bunch of broken links on one of my pages…Ack.
Good luck getting Google to answer to anything…lol.
