Since 2005 there has been a holiday called Wombat Day observed on 22 October, at the beginning of the traditional aboriginal spring planting season.
Normally the Wombanians…Binky, Winky, Twink and Fraz would be holding a chocolate wombat cake, but Winky ate it before the picture was taken. So later, Twink mixed up another cake batch, but when she slipped off to the check the mail before she put it in the oven, Winky added all the same ingredients so the batch would double. Then Fraz and Binky came along and did the same thing. Neither of them new what the other did. But Twink new one, or all of them did something to the cake when it came out of the oven so big it wouldn’t fit on a plate . But it’s all good, because once the cake cools they can all dig in and eat it right out of the oven.
Then later on Twink sent Tink and Dink to the store to get a chocolate cake for them for the big celebration watercolor painting….Yay!
For Wombat Day 2012…a watercolor paintings.
Enjoy the big celebration at Wombania
Don’t forget to vote for Fraz for president in my side bar….we’re all counting on you.
