Cassie: Written for Flash in the Pan (75 Words)

We were all sitting at home quietly, when suddenly our dog, Cassie, jumped like a hot chili pepper, then she began to pant vigorously. She must hear the sound of the storm getting closer even though we can’t hear it yet. Dogs have a great sense of hearing, and can hear things that an average human can’t. She began to shiver and shake, then all of the sudden, we heard the plane fly over head.

You’re right about dogs knowing and sensing
different things, our family dogs always knew
something well in advance 🙂 🙂

Dogs could be used as an early warning device. Or maybe an early warning pepper.
