The Sad Clown
The Sad Clown
Let me tell you a story of a very sad clown,
He used to be happy when he went town to town.
But now he’s a bit sad, and he’s out of jokes,
But don’t miss take him, he’s a really nice bloke.
He seems to be stuck thinking of an unpleasant time,
And if he doesn’t live in the present, it would be a crime.
A crime to himself , and others around.
This “living in the past thinking,” is just not at all sound.
So don’t be like, the very sad clown,
Who use to be happy going from town to town.
Think of good things that will take any frown,
And flip it over to turn it around.
.…Think happy thoughts.

/ July 23, 2012Poor guy…I like how you muted the colours to match his mood, Deb. And i hope you’re feeling a whole lot brighter than he is 🙂
Deb

And, for some reason, I had to enter my user name and password to comment, even though I’m signed in to my blog. It may be just another WP glitch! Happy hugs to you! xoxo

/ July 23, 2012O. I’m so unhappy right now … I know how he feels, Deb, , my friend … wishing you happiness … Love, cat.
Deb
/ July 23, 2012Oh Cat! I don’t know what’s making you unhappy, but don’t want you to feel that way. If it is due to thoughts, then change what you are thinking to something happy.
Send you much love and hugs! xoxo

Wendell A. Brown, aka. The Brown One Poet

Deb
/ July 24, 2012We all need to examine what we think about. First comes the thought, then comes the feelings.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Thanks Wendell! 🙂 xo

/ July 25, 2012A clown should be happy not sad 😦 poor clown.
nice story and painting deb 🙂
Deb
/ July 30, 2012Yes, well behind many happy clown faces are hidden secrets. At least a sad clown expresses his true feelings.
I put up a happy clown after this one though. 🙂
Thanks Novroz!
