There once was a kitty, that laid in the grass
She was so bored waiting, for something to pass.
She watched and waited, then went in the house.
Then back outside again, where she found her a mouse.
But she didn’t eat,the mouse she found.
They just made friends, and played on the ground.
“Why don’t you eat me,” asked the mouse.
Because I ate, when I went in the house.
“So will you stay full long enough for us to play?”
Yes, of course, it will last all day.
Mouse asks, “Do you mind if I go in the house to get a drink?”
Yes you may, there’s a glass by the sink.
So the mouse entered the house, as quick as a sneeze.
Made himself at home, and ate all the cheese.
Then the mouse went outside, where the cat still sat.
Told the cat thank you, like a good little rat.
I want you to know, that I ate some food
Cat says, “That’s okay, I’m in a real good mood.
But later on, when my stomach has a hungry feel,
You, my full rat,
Will be my next meal!”
And that is kitty strategy.

/ July 9, 2012I can not decide which I love more the art or the poem, well they are both art aren’t they. Okay the pictures which are adorable or the poem which made me snort water through my nose as I was drinking when I got to the end.

/ July 9, 2012I know, and they couldn’t be more wrong, Barb. This little kitty is going to get as much as possible with as little work as possible. 🙂
Hope your having a nice evening, Barb. Monday nights is one of my WWE Wrestling nights, so I’m looking forward to that later on this evening.
How was your crock pot dinner last evening?…Bet is was delicious! 🙂 xo

/ July 9, 2012Dinner was good. Hope you enjoy your wrestling. I was looking forward to the return of the closer but for some reason, I have no sound on my television.
Deb
/ July 9, 2012Glad to hear dinner was good.
Do you think you could have lost the TV sound due to any bad weather you may or may not be having? Sometimes when I rain here is we will loose our sound or the whole the whole connection.

Cedric the Rat
/ July 12, 2012Never trust a cat no matter how cute they look. They are full of deceit & murderous thoughts. Evil, pure evil…
