South Point

I’m back.

The trip went pretty well for me, but hubby had a few troubles with he mower, but he fixed it…as always.

This time I remembered to pack up the art supplies I forgot to take when we came here in March.  Next year I pack my stuff first…yeah right!  So now I can reacquaint myself with ink, watercolors and oil pastels…though the above painting is digital that I painted last week.

THANK YOU!…To all of you that commented on my blog while I was away. It was a pleasure to read all your comments. I will make every effort to visit each and every one of you, but it will take some time to get caught up…I know you all understand how that goes.

The beach is were we are now, where we went was back home for a little over 1/2 week. I’m really glad you like it, Soma!

Camtasia allows you to film as you are working but will cost. There are several free programs that do the same thing. For screen grabs I use PicPick that’s free and easy to use.

  15. Welcome Back, Deb, I missed you, too! Glad you had a good time and your painting is beautiful. It’s as though I can hear the waves hit the shore and the breeze rustle through the tall, green grass; so serene that I’d love to be there! Oh, and, please don’t worry about catching up. I had to accept “starting from scratch” and it’s not easy, as I don’t want to miss any posts, but I’m not sure if there’s anyway around it…so, breathe, paint and have a great afternoon! Hugs! xo

    • Thank you so much for your understanding, Lauren. I’m afraid others will have to understand too. I’ve been trying to catch up all day, and just can seem to put a decent dent in it. So I gave up on the catching up part a few hours ago when it was time to prepare dinner.
Thank you too for the lovely comment about the painting.
      Missed you bunches! Hugs! xx

and adding some more of your excellent paintings, this
one is brilliant Deb 🙂 I can visualise you, just out of the
painted area of the canvas enjoying a nice sun-bathe 🙂
Perhaps even in the niff (Hey I Am Kidding 😉 🙂

  27. Wow Debbie! This one really does it for me. Gave me the chills. The ocean and beach is like a continuous residence of my soul and this even resembles a small piece of land I’m considering to purchase on the Caribbean coast as an investment at first and then my retirement place 🙂
Very beautiful painting. As before, I will use this as the Evoking FB page image and give you credit. I will assume it’s ok 🙂

We should be okay…we’ll get a bit of rain though…all day long. Fraz has his ship secured and he is here with us since you were at your beach house this week. He’ll be safe through the day and night, then I’ll send him on his way back to his own private island.
