I seen quite a few when i went to crowder collegel in Neosho Missouri, right in the heart of tornado alley! Also when i lived in Omaha Ne, for 10 years. I was in Council Bluffs when they got hit by a tornado that damage heavily one side of the town. And you are right only a storm chaser looks forward to seeing one of them!
Such a contrast between the tornado and the light in the sky. I don’t think i’d ever chase after one of those, Deb 🙂 I particularly like the greens in the 2nd one. Night night.
Oh wow these look so amazing Deb…and although tornadoes can be dangerous..the first one looks such a magical one..beautiful tornado caused by a genie’s woosh 🙂
how did you get such a perfect green…lovely shade
the second one is anger but just superb..again the green is so perfect as if you have painted tornado on a real photo….amazing
loved them 🙂
Love 🙂
Never had that happen yet … have seen a funnel cloud a few years ago though … luckily it did not touch down … the pic is so beautiful, glad it’s a pic though … Love you, my sista … Always, cat.
Amazing paintings, Deb! These monsters scare me, even though, I’ve never experienced one. I’m glad to live on the west coast with an occasional earthquake :)! Hugs! xo
How glorious! I love to watch them, even when they are destroying buildings. Mother Nature’s equalizers. I have been close enough to one I could almost touch it. It was at the end of the driveway, not more than 25 feet from me. There have been others, but none quite so close. They are simply amazing.
Red.
The energy you’ve captured in this is remarkable, Deb!
Fortunately I’ve never been this close to a Tornado in person, but your art gets the heart going almost like I imagine it would be actually ‘being there’!
🙂
Good pictures of tornado’s Deb, and that is the only way they should be seen…. lol. The real one’s do way to much damage and hurt a lot of people. They can be very nasty!
Yes they are. I’ve never had to see one. Just little dust devils that don’t cause much more damage that knocking over a trash can. Thanks for the comment on my painting, Carol! Hugs xx
One word… Awesome!!!
I especially love the darkness of the 2nd one. I’d hate to be in the path of one of those & those stormchaser people who go after them are totally nuts
Two words….thank you!! 🙂 🙂
I don’t know what obsesses someone to want to chase on of those beasts. I’d be running as far out of it’s way as I could.
Thanks Tony!
Hugs xx
