Good Friday

Good Friday is observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday. On this day Christians commemorate the passion, or suffering, and death on the cross of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Many Christians spend this day in fasting, prayer, repentance, and meditation on the agony and suffering of Christ on the cross.

About this artwork: I created this charcoal drawing of the crucifix in 2006

Thomas Kinkade, the master of light,  passed away today 4/6/2012

Cause of death

May he Rest in Peace.

  1. For Presbyterians the vacant cross stands for the risen Christ. I will publish my art work on subject tomorrow morning. Blessings.

    • I understand this, Carl, but this one was posted Thursday evening. I intend to still post for Easter.
Thank you, my friend! and look forward to your post as well.

  2. Happy Easter Debs! 🙂

Can’t go to church – still infectious and coughing like a pro – but everyone knows I’m poorly, so no worries! 🙂

    Love and hugs!
