A tad simplistic for your calibre towards
art and it’s many forms but guess what?

    I like it 🙂

    • Hey now, you’re in my daily thoughts and prayers. God knows where you want to live..to retire. I’m rooting for it too. 🙂
      Thanks, Lauren!

      • Well, we’re not even close to retirement, yet, but keeping me in your prayers is wonderful, Deb! Our son is only a junior, so who knows where he’ll end up in college and our daughter is still at home; she’ll transfer next fall…life is still pretty busy! But, it’s all good! 🙂

        • By the time you are ready to retire God might say, “Look at all these prayer requests for Lauren’s dream!…think I will honor them.” Faith, Lauren…faith, which I know you have. 🙂

I like this I am thinking of Quakers or Amish so lovely and pure. I like the Amish 😉
I too have been very occupied with daily things, so I have not been taking time to catch up on my blogging. Don’t you think I am not thinking of you, I am with a smile 🙂

    • Yes, Amish, if fact I forgot to put that in on the post, but I put it up there now.
Blogging can be very difficult for commenting on all the blogs we love, and all the people that visit us and comment on ours, especially if our own commenter list is growing. We all have the same amount of time in a day, but we don’t all have the same things that need to be done in those hours. We’re only one person.
I know you think of me. I also know you will get here when you get here…BTW: what took you so long…lol, I’m just kidding…seemed fitting for my going on about this. 🙂

    • There is plenty of space for all of us, but so many choose to stay in tight living quarter like big cities. Though some have no choice, there are other that could leave whenever they wanted, and ought to have some time living simple for a while.
Mary Had a Little Lamb?….It’s the way the woman figure is dressed that could have brought that though on.
      Thank you, Soma!

  16. I love the painting. I don’t wish for the simple life because life is simple for the simple minded and I fit right in there. I do love your folk art. Love the other stuff too though.

    • Bo…You are already living “Simple Living,” We out in nature as soon as we step out the front door, kitchen door, or walkout basement door…it’s all around us. Vegetable gardens and all.

I know what you mean though. I just adore folk art. so uncomplicated.

You’re not simple minded, at least not in the bad sense, but yes, it the good sense.

  17. I love it, Deb! I don’t think it is simplistic.
It reminds me of Van Gogh’s wheat fields. Probably because of the color (it’s kinda yellow, right? I’m not crazy? lol) and also your explanation. Oh and the sky looks amazing!!! Now I’m going back to my revisions 😉
Hope you’re having a lovely day.

Iove it….. and I agree Deb.. that simple living is great.. but then I would never have got to meet so many new people here in Blog Land had it not been for the tech side of life… But I also love my peace and quiet and me time with candle lit and music low as I drift off to the land of imagination.. and meditation.. Have a wonderful rest of the week.. ~Sue xx

Deb, this brings back what I best like about trips to Lancaster, Co…Once off the well traveled road, the serenity of the countryside…that feeling of saying, “ohhh…now I’m home.” With your digital skills you’ve given this a loose, easy watercolor style look. It’s warm, comforting, and easy on the eyes…the best thing about being “home.” Love it!

    Hugs back to you!!!
