This is Kroten, but is having a dream since she is not a sea-turtle in real life. In real life Kroten is a 3 year old Morph Red Ear Slider, but here, in a dream, she is a sea-turtle.
Kroten also has a blog that she shares with Kame, who is also a turtle, but not a sea turtle.
About this artwork: Watercolors and ink on 140 lb coldpress watercolor paper. Created for Kroten, who has patiently waited.

/ September 18, 2011I like the almost electric colors you used for Kroten. Very nice. I’m sure Kroten will love it, though Kame may be a bit envious!
Debbie Adams
/ September 19, 2011This is true, but there has already been artwork done of Kame by someone else. So I thought I would even the score. 😉
Glad you like the colors, hope Kroten likes it too….Where is she anyway? She’s the star of this show.
Thanks for commenting, Binky!

This is a nice surprise…I look beautiful in my dream. Being yellow sea turtle would be awesome.
Debbie Adams
/ September 19, 2011Aw, Kroten, I am so glad you like yourself in a dream. When I decided to paint you I wanted it to be special and unique just for you. Drawings and paintings as yourself can come easy, but in a dream makes is special…at least I think so.
Be a good girl now, Kroten.
Much love,
Aunt Debbie xx

/ September 19, 2011Great! I like the enhanced shell. I also like the neck almost straining and the way it’s like Kroten is really getting into the swim. Nice background too. Could be the ocean depths or corals or could be near the shore.
Debbie Adams
/ September 19, 2011It sound like you like this one a bit, Curtis. I’m glad. Kroten seemed to like it too
Thanks for commenting, Curtis!

/ September 20, 2011Yes, I’ll do! I love it too. Plus, I love the idea of sharing thoughts, stories, paintings, drawings, etc. with people from all around the world. But let’s face it, speaking English is necessary to do so.
Debbie Adams
/ September 21, 2011If you want to comment on someone’s non English speaking blog you can do so with the help of Google translate. Here is their link
http://translate.google.com/translate_t?hl=&ie=UTF-8&text=Thank+you&sl=en&tl=es#en|de|Thank%20you
If I’m not sure what language they are speaking I take a phase that they wrote and test it in different languages till I got it. Only take a few seconds or so.
