Country Barn

Country Barn

It’s been raining around here for over a week. Geesh, when will it end? I know, you all have had your share too; so much of the country has, and in some places it as been tragic for many.

The drawing has nothing to do with any of this, except for the fact that I did it while wishing the rain would stop.

Country Barn is an ink drawing.

  1. Love the elements of plantlife growing from the cracks in the roof of this barn, Debbie. Nice ink drawing!

    • I don’t do ink drawings very often, but am now since I want to get drawing skills back up so I can do watercolors and ink paintings. I have a few others that are going up here today that I recently did, so please don’t mind the tiny flood of ink drawings.
Thank you for your support and comment, Leslie! You always manage to keep me motivated and I appreciate that so much.

  2. It seems like this barn has seen better days, but old decrepit barns are always visually interesting.

  3. I really like the unique shape of this one..it catches the eye nicely!

  4. Great sketch, Debbie! I love it.
At least it is dry inside the barn – I hope!

    • I wonder if it is dry, Jan; it looks a bit decrepit. I’m really glad you like the drawing and thank you so much for commenting, Jan!

I like old decrepit barns. I can identify with them.
