Watercolors: Waterfalls – Just Fishin’

Just Fishin’

My husband is a fisherman and fishes all spring and summer about 99% of the time. Good thing I don’t interfere, or he would be singing, “I’m gonna miss her” lol. This waterfall in view was created from a challenge I found on Wet Canvas, though I think of it as my hubby. I enjoyed very much creating the rocks, it was loose and relaxing.

Watercolor on 140lb. press watercolor paper.

    • That is just what I do, Tracie, I learn from others, and if my artwork helps another then I am glad I have this blog. Thank you so much for the lovely comment, Tracie!

  2. Debbie this is beautiful. I am drawn to the way you have created the splash effect of the wave as it hits the rocks, which are equally well represented. Lovely painting dear 🙂

    • It was tricky to get the splash in there being I only have Chinese White, when I can pick of some opaque it will likely work much better for me in some ways. Thank you for the comment, Alan! x
