I think that this one works very well and portrays the Lighthouse in a somewhat eerie setting, I can almost hear the Werewolves howling in the distance, I say in the distance because any nearer and I would be running away not commenting on this fine charcoal drawing of yours 🙂

Seriously though, I do like how the small boats sit in shadow as the Sun sets, it is one of my favourites so far and the journey has only just begun. You have a real feast on your pages, lots of wonderful themes and many drawings and paintings to whet the appetites of all that view your work.

Have a wonderful rest of evening now Deb…

    • On Ocracoke Island you will find ponies, deer, racoons, possums, fox, and many species of birds. Oh, insects…lots, and lots of insects, especially mosquitoes and horse flies, Aak! But no Werewolves so you can relax…lol.
I love the eerie setting myself. Most silhouettes can cause that feeling to them, but not all. I’m glad this one does.
I’m glad you like the painting and thank you for commenting on it.
You have a restful evening as well, Andro!

Yes, the boats in the foreground give this one quite a different feel as the sun sets, and the lighthouse here is more a background element rather than the primary focus.

    • That’ just how is look too when the sun is setting around here. Fraz might be able to see it from his island too. 🙂
      Thanks Binky!
